Can you believe that 2018 is almost over? I don’t know where the time has gone. It was just Easter, and in the blink of an eye (it seems) it’s the 23 of December…the year is basically finished.
As 2018 comes to a close, it’s important to reflect, plan for 2019, set your 2019 goals (and make sure that you achieve them). However, before you start to ‘Reflect. Plan. Achieve.’ let’s review, acknowledge and celebrate all our 2018 accomplishments!
So here is a question for you, what 3 goals are you most proud of achieving in 2018?
Let’s grab our Reflect. Plan. Achieve. Notebook or if you don’t have one yet, grab a pen and paper …it’s time to brag on yourself and honor all the progress you made!
The 3 goals I’m proud of achieving are:
- Creating my Reflect. Plan. Achieve eBook & Notebook
- Traveling to 6 countries & 5 States (Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali, Thailand, and America: New York, Kentucky, Nashville, Florida and Atlanta) – The most I have ever traveled in one year!
- Empowering over 43,000 people with my Blog
Speaking of my Reflect. Plan. Achieve. eBook (picture below)
There is only eight days left in 2018, and like many of us you have probably started to reflect on the past year, planning what you want next year to look like and setting new year’s goals.
As a reminder, this year we have talked about:
- How to stop procrastinating and achieve your goals;
- Stepping out of your comfort zone;
- Learning how to say ‘no’ can redefined your life;
- How daily affirmations can help you be happier, healthier and more successful;
- The joys of traveling; and
- Reclaiming your faith.
In order to go into the new year with a goal of being happy and successful in all areas of your life, you have to start with ‘you’. Start with being honest with yourself about where you are in your life and what you want to achieve. It is time to stop putting everyone else first. Stop aligning what you want with what other people have or what they think you should have.
It is important to take a moment to let go of all the expectations of others and think about what you REALLY want. What will actually make YOU happy?
This year, I learned a lot about myself and what really matters to me. I have learned how to say ‘No’. I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone, let go of people’s expectations of me and I am consciously working on procrastination. All of these experiences have helped me to achieve a happier, healthier and more successful life.
